MLex US
MLex is pleased to announce the launch of a brand new service that will significantly expand the portfolio of products we can provide our subscribers.
For some time we have been investigating setting up a service in the US and believe the time is right to make such a move. Over the past few months, we have been busy lining up the right people and building the user-friendly website to ensure we can generate and deliver the sort of client-facing intelligence, commentary and analysis that has made our reputation in Europe.
Cecile Kohrs Lindell, a highly experienced journalist and qualified lawyer, has joined MLex to lead our expansion into North America where we will be launching MLex US in April. We will be starting live beta testing of the site in February.
For the past six years Cecile has led antitrust coverage out of Washington and around the US for The Deal, a leading online financial services publication. Prior to that, she served as a lawyer at the Federal Trade Commission working on antitrust matters, particularly in the health care industry, as well as formally representing the FTC at OECD and ABA events. She joined the FTC from a leading US law firm where she worked on antitrust matters. Prior to qualifying as a lawyer, Cecile reported on antitrust for Bridge News, a financial real-time news agency.
"No other service in the United States offers the coverage on antitrust law that MLex can provide. It is focused on antitrust, but is also broad enough to cover the range of issues that are of concern to policy makers, lawyers and investors who need to know how competition law can directly affect them and their clients," says Cecile. "As an antitrust lawyer myself, I know the nuances that practitioners and their clients are interested in.
